Sleaford is a town in Lincolnshire, England, in the United Kingdom. It is in eastern England. The name of the town is derived from Olde English's \"esla forde,\" which translates to ford above a muddy stream (due to River Slea). One of the town's most prominent landmarks is St. Deny's Church, which is home to one of England's oldest spires (made in 1180).
